Why Vigil exists

The Origin Story

Vigil was founded by engineers and product leaders who ran this gauntlet themselves. Every search meant the same grind: a tracker that went stale by week two, roles found too late, no idea who to talk to at a company, and one resume doing the work of ten.

The breaking point came when a friend missed out on their dream role—the opening had been live for weeks and nobody had put it in front of them. It wasn't laziness or lack of interest. They were simply overwhelmed and had no system running the search alongside them.
